FINNTROLL: New Video Interview Available

HardcoreSounds.net recently conducted a video interview with vocalist Mathias "Vreth" Lillmåns and keyboardist Henri "Trollhorn" Sorvali of Finnish folk metallers FINNTROLL. The chat can now be viewed below.

FINNTROLL will embark on a spring North American headlining tour, dubbed "Finnish Metal", with support from MOONSORROW, SWALLOW THE SUN and SURVIVORS ZERO. Brought to you by King Foo Entertainment, the tour will cover over 20 cities in what is hoped to be a yearly event.

All four bands have now added a special event VIP ticket for a pre-show meet-and-greet to take place one hour before doors. Each night, fans will get to meet and greet the entire tour package for a special event that will include all the band members from all four bands. These special VIP tickets are on sale now at EnterTheVault.com and each venue will put them on sale through whatever ticketing system they use in the coming days.

FINNTROLL will release its new album, "Nifelvind", in North America on March 9 via Century Media Records. The CD was recorded at Sonic Pump Studios in Helsinki, Finland and was mastered by Mika Jussila at Finnvox Studios. The album cover artwork was created once again by the band's guitarist Skrymer.

Commented FINNTROLL in a statement: "After tough and hectic weeks in the studio, due to lack of time and summer festivals, we are now really, really pleased with the results. 'Nifelvind' is the most advanced and mature FINNTROLL album to date, with musical themes ranging from powerful death metal riffs to dark soundtracks, from pounding black metal to groovy '80s pop music. All this is accompanied by our trademark sound, lots of never-before-heard instruments in the metal scene, folklore and legends that make it overall the most versatile album we have created so far."
